For over 40 years we have provided professional accountancy services to local and nationwide clients and created long lasting business relationships and friendships with our clients.
The practice was originally launched by Patrick Hourigan and named P B Hourigan & Co and has always been a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
We have been fortunate enough to have a loyal team of staff for over 40 years, & in 2023 Patrick’s daughter Lorna re-joined the team after completing her ACCA professional qualifications in a large accounting practice and now looks to bring in her knowledge & take over the reins from her father in the coming years.

Lorna Hourigan

Lorna is Patrick’s youngest daughter and is stepping into Patrick’s shoes! She originally enjoyed working in the world of wedding dresses and design but re-trained in her mid twenties studying her full AAT qualification and worked in the family firm from 2017-2021. To extend her knowledge she worked in another practice whilst completing her ACCA studies and qualified in 2023 and returned to the family firm soon after.
Lorna’s tenacity and commitment to growing and expanding her skillset reflects in the service she delivers. She prides herself on a friendly, professional service and is keen to build long lasting relationships with her clients.
Lorna’s constant desire to learn new things doesn’t stop at accounting, she also trained in floristry and did freelance work for wedding florists. She loves the creative industries!
